Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

David Rappaport, Vice President and Controller of CEC Entertainment, Inc. (the “Company”), and the Company’s principal accounting officer, is departing the Company effective on July 3, 2019, to pursue other opportunities. James A. Howell, the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will assume the role of principal accounting officer.

Mr. Rappaport, 49, joined the Company on July 30, 2018, replacing Laurie Priest in the same position and role. From May 2009 until joining the Company, he was Senior Director of International Finance and Accounting with Walmart Stores, Inc.
